This test was skewed a bit toward the more classic scifi films like “Them” and the original “War of the World”, from the 60’s-era of science fiction movies. Not that I’m THAT old. ;)

I got mid-60s.

Them. I haven’t seen that one sice I was a boy. I remember seeing it on VHS a few years ago, but they wanted almost $30 for it so I didn’t bother to buy it.

I have the original War of the Worlds on DVD now. I still think it’s one of the best sci-fi flicks ever. If you watch closely you can even see the alien force fields wink out as they fire through them. Even Star Trek and Star Wars don’t show that!

I’ve mentioned before that I have Jeff Wayne’s musical version of War of the Worlds. I highly recommend it. It’s not a song and dance musical, but a good rendition of the story. They even used this music for the soundtrack of the RTS game.

I got 70. I had to think for awhile on a few of those. I haven’t seen most of those since I was a kid. But a damn good quiz.
