New Story: In Deed, Chapter 1

As promised, I’m finishing the final story from the Book of Dark Places in text format.

It doesn’t cover any new ground from the comic version (it ends with them arriving at the facility), but as you’ll quickly see there are some important differences. The BoDP version was basically a stripped-down version of a text story that I abandoned years before. Several characters were removed and the comic version was quite a bit shorter. What I’m writing now is more like a hybrid of the two previous ones. Hopefully I’ll finish THIS one.

    WOW. Same story, as you said, but much better. I know you like the idea of the graphics, but I personally think you’re much better at text. I’d even like to see this kind of treatment for your other BODP stories some time.

    I’ve considered it. I think there are other stories that need to get done first, but it may happen later.
