CotA: Page 32

Here it is.

The sparse-ness of blog postings and relative lateness of CotA pages is the result of an insane work schedule. So far, I haven’t officially been “late” with anything, but things might change. The August bonus story may not even happen until WELL into August, and as for writing anything else besides CotA… heh… yeah, right. I’ll be lucky if I can keep three-times-a-week going over the next two weeks or so.

But fear not… I’m not giving up or canceling anything. Nothing is going on hiatus. If something is late, then its just late. And if something is VERY late, then so be it.

Not a problem brother. Those of us who know you are use to it by now. lol.

It’s the newbies that may worry though.

This part reminded me of the opening scene in Firefly by Piers Anthony. Nothing but skin and bones.

Even if it’s a bit late I’m looking forward to the next installment.

Next installment won’t be late, but the ones next week may be.

I don’t think I’ve ever read Firefly, although I’m certainly a fan of Piers Anthony. Anyone remember Xanth?

Firefly is supposed to be horror, but I didn’t find it so. I don’t even remember what the antagonist was, but I do remember that the method of killing was basically liquifying everything except the bones and skin, then absorbing it. Quite of bit of sex too (big surprise there). A couple of really good characters, one of which was never seen.

Xanth: I haven’t read the past half dozen or so, but the first couple dozen were pretty good.

If you can find his short stories, compiled in a book titled Anthonology, there are a couple in there worth reading. I don’t remember the titles, but certain scenes still stick in my mind years after reading them.
