Top 50 Comic Book Characters

Empire Online gives us their list of the Top 50 Comic Book characters and, more importantly, the opportunity to vote on individual members of the list. I went through all 50 and gave the thumbs-up (or down) as I saw fit. In my opinion, some of the more obscure or “artsy” heroes are over-represented. And I voted Superman down just for the hell of it.

Serial Horror Fiction?

Is anyone aware of any other serial horror fiction projects like “Court of the Abominatrix”? I’m wanting to put together a brief list of links and perhaps reach out to some fellow authors… but there aren’t that many. Lots of horror authors and flash-fiction authors, sure… but I’m talking specifically about serial horror fiction. I’m sure I’m not doing something unique here, but serial horror fiction seems to be underrepresented on the internet compared to other genres and other models of fiction (such as normal short stories). Anybody seen any?

I think “Court of the Abominatrix” takes the record for the number of different monsters to appear in a single Dark Icon story.

But I’m only about halfway done and I’ve got monsters I haven’t USED yet!
