There’s a slight change of pace with Page 6 of In Deed.
Of the remaining victims, er, characters, it appears Gilliam is most expendable. Pity, I kind of like him.
Anyways, almost happy hour, I can taste those beers already.
Have a great weekend everyone and if you haven’t seen Trick-r-Treat yet, do yourself a favor and see it.
It’s on my list to see.
This was another good chapter, and so far the pacing for continuing this story is right on. Have a good weekend.
I saw a trailer for a movie called Altitude. The creature in it is referred to as “Lovecraftian”. Doesn’t look bad, but I’ll wait for the DVD release.
Trick-r-Treat is great; I think I reviewed it before Halloween. I haven’t heard of “Altitude”. I’ve heard there will be a movie version of the Lovecraft story “At The Mountains of Madness” (which takes place in some mountains in the arctic), so this may be it.
Altitude isn’t that story, unless they completely rewrote it. From what I saw in the preview it’s about a group of young people (of course), One of the ladies recently got her pilot license, but isn’t rated for instruments. She takes her friends up and during the flight there is a large storm that she isn’t able to climb over. Inside the storm is a large toothed mouth and lots of tentacles.
Oh yeah, one of the passengers is reading a comic of Weird Tales that looks like it explains everything that’s happening.
The last I heard, Mountains of Madness and Thing on the Doorstep were on hold. Bummer.
Just saw the trailer. It does look interesting. I’d even go so far as to say that it looks good. But then, that’s the whole point of a trailer, isn’t it?
Interesting – yes. Worth theater prices – Not for me. DVD rental, or torrent download.
