It's based (very loosey) off of Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series.

I saw all of Season 1 and liked it. I've been watching the new season 2 episodes on the web ( www.legendoftheseeker.com ) and still like it. Quite a lot is different from the books, but mostly in a good way. Mord-Sith...Hell Yeah!

The episode I referred to is from the second season and is titled Baneling. You don't really have to see any of the others episodes, or have read the books, to have it make sense. The depictions of people suffering in the underworld are pretty good too.

The ending of this particular episode though is right up your alley. Children aren't always nice and innocent.

I've only just become aware of this show. I haven't seen any episodes, but it's on my Netflix list, so I'll probably watch a few soon. I'll be on the look out for this one.

I don't know if you watch the TV show Legend of the Seeker or not, but Season 2 Episode 2 is very worthy of your stories. It revolves around people who have died and in the Underworld they make a deal with the Keeper of the Underworld to return to life, but in return they must kill for him. A mother makes that deal so she can continue to watch over her son. Unknown to her, the son has made the same deal. The ending in particular reminded me of a Dark Icon story, when the innocent child is revealed to be a killer, and more.

It was a short range blast and won't interfere with anything up top.

I kinda figured that, and I expect the EMP to interfere with Stryger's scanning, giving Shaw an opportunity to make it to the ship. Of course, if she does it won't be what she's expecting.
