Back from unplanned hiatus, here’s page 30 of “In Deed”
That’s not the kind of surprise I’d want to find in an airlock.

Great way to return to the story. Remind me not to be eating my breakfast when I read these updates from now on.
Not really that bad. I continued eating. I didn’t get to see this yesterday because we lost power for the entire day. It went out about 3:00am, and wasn’t restored until 11:45pm.
Hmmm, this page made me think. I’d forgotten that this site was occupied. How recently? The bodies are fairly fresh, or seem to be, for it to have been abandoned for the decades since this kind of tech was outlawed.
Stryger’s people were there recently. Ethan founds some (in pieces) in the ventilation system, and another one in the airlock. Lucky him. This is how he concluded that the soldier wanted to do more than just kill people.
That’s pretty much what I figured.
No spoiler requested, but will we eventually find out what Stryger’s people were doing, and what their plans were?
Yup.
BTW, there will be an update today (Wednesday); but it will be later this evening.
Been checking since about 6:30 this morning. Guess I’ll have to check after my meeting tonight, when I get home.
Read page 31. Not really clear as to what’s going on, but figure it’ll make more sense after the next page on Friday.
Page 32 has the story progressing at pace. Looks like next week may start some action.
AHA! Page 33 is a great start to the new week. Not sure why the individual pages aren’t being mentioned on the site though, but I’m enjoying them anyway.
One more thing that’s bugging me. Why/How is the voice in the static identifying itself as those who have been killed? Do the nanomites absorb the characteristics of the people when they devour them?
Looks like I missed a few…
Okay, that’s clearly not what’s happening. I remember posting both of those. I guess the blog software is on the fritz or something. Normally when I make a post, I don’t re-load the main page to see if it actually posted, I just assume it did. That’s what I get for assuming I guess. Oh, well.
