Today’s episode has yet another surprise. At least, that’s now how I originally planned to end it. Sometimes people do unexpected things. The way I figure it: if you’re a writer and your characters aren’t surprising you every once in a while, then you’re doing something wrong.

   Good surprise. Much better than what I’m seeing out of my window this morning.

   Looking out my window reminds me of this story. We’re currently experiencing the second blizzard in a week, and except for the color of the snow the visibility outside is just like in this story. I can see the trees in the back yard, but the slightest bit of wind causes them to disappear from view.

   I’m so sick of shoveling snow that I almost wish a swarm of nannites would devour me so I don’t have to do any more of it.
