Here’s page 41 of “In Deed”
So, it appears that Stryger is using his own man as bait this time. I like this character.
Before anyone asks, Monday’s update will be in the afternoon. Sometimes I can’t (or forget to) upload the new pages at night, and THEN sometimes I’m unable to get into my home computer from work. When both of those things occur simultaneously, the updates happen in late afternoon instead of first thing in the morning.
I hadn’t asked…yet. I’ve been looking though. Wondering what Stryger is up to. Is he really gambling with Gilliam’s life? Is there more than one nannite soldier? And a million other things.
Will check back at lunch, then after work if needed.
There’s only one. However, WHY there is only one is another mystery, just like why doesn’t it just dissolve them all and be done with it?
As for Stryger, let’s just call this character development. By now, I’ve established Gilliam as a gun-crazy loon. Stryger is very much like that as well, only worse. More on that as the story progresses toward its end.
Fair enough. One other item I’m trying to figure out is the relationship between the nannites and the dust storm. They seem to be integrated in some way, as if the nannites are able to control the storm.
For what it’s worth, I find myself imagining these pages as if they were still being done on BODP. I like the written story much better, but I’d seen enough of your renderings to keep imagining what some of these scenes might look like.
