I suppose there’s cause for confusion. Near the beginning of the story Stryger tells how the field protecting the facility was sabotaged by a corporate infiltrator, allowing the poisonous atmosphere to kill the original workers.
Later in the story, Ethan conjectures that TriLinear probably used the planet as a testing ground for the nannites. I never actually said they used the nannites INSTEAD of the sabotage or that Stryger’s story was false.
…which leads to an interesting possibility…

Right. That’s what it was. I didn’t realize that the ore being mined is also in the atmosphere.
I really like this little insight into Stryger’s past. That’s the kind of thing that keeps me coming back to your writings.

I’m seeing that the end is near here. How much more do we have left? Also I’m already on Streets of Ice in the December series. I can’t seem to stop reading them. Even at work. I think your gonna get me fired DI. LOL
EXCELLENT!!!
One item that piqued my curiosity: I thought the facility had been sabotaged by injecting the nanomites, not poison. I must have misread that page.
I think today’s page will be the highlight of the week.
